Family Holliday in Osorno Volcano

My best Holliday was this winter in my home in the south, with my family (my father, my mother and sister) and some of my sister`s friends (Camila, Gabriela and Constanza). This was extremely funny and exciting, because I really don`t know they, and they were great persons, very funny, friendly, happy and interesting.

 

We travelled to the Osorno volcano, to the snow, in the national park “Vicente Perez Rosales”. We arrive early at the morning, and the way is over, because the night before had snowed, and the way was very dangerous because there was ice in the way. However, after a few hours, the road personal cleaned the road and we went to the snowfields. When we arrive to the summit, we contemplated the beautiful place. I saw the Llanquihue Lake and the Calbuco volcano. The cold and clear air was great, and contemplating this snowy landscape was relaxing.

In the summit, we made a snowman, this snowman was an “ALF” and it was very similar to the original. After this, I saw rabbit and pudú`s fingerprint in the snow, and with my sister, we had the chance of eating natural ice hanging of the trees, because the rain in the night made ice because of the cold temperature.

At the afternoon, we descended the volcano, and we went to “Los Saltos del Petrohue”. Then, after an exciting and tiring day, we return to my house in Fresia.

Ancient and Modern Culture in Japan

I would like to visit Japan. This is a place that I very want to know, because I think that its culture is very rich and old, and the most important is the custom conservation considering the modern context. Even more, because Japan is the most important place of the modern culture, one icon of technology and civilization. But, the Japanese have the perfect balance with the old and the modern in their culture. 

In Japan, I would like visit Tokyo and live an experience not like a visitor or tourist, because I think that’s a fake appreciation of reality. I would like to live in the same terms a Japanese live, and understand this cosmopolitan city. Especially I would like to know the “sakura” or the cherry tree full of flowers, and walk on the streets along with these trees.

I wouldn’t like to study anything there, that’s a lot work, because I think that is very hard and difficult study and work there. I just want to LIVE without worrying about money or the expensive life there

FIRST TERM OF 2012

it really difficult for me evaluate this year, I lived many things, good and bas, so I can´t really express my feelings about it.

in the first semester, I had great news about my practice and thesis, because I was accepted in a team of archaeological work in Patagonia, that is my favorite place for work, because that beautiful place make a positive atmosphere for working, but, the most important is that I’m very interested on the development of the so called simple societies. then I´m very happy for this good news.

In addition, I participate in a power fitness class. This class was very hard and exhausting. I assisted two days a week, for two hours each, but it was so exhausting that I couldn’t do anything else for the rest of the day. The class contemplated exercises about aerobic, step, aerobox, etc.

But, as life is not always perfect, I miss my family, because I live in Puerto Montt, and I can travel regularly to my home.
