Gaia

I`m consider a green girl. But, to time to do something, I really don`t do so much. I don`t recycles anything or I don`t part of any eco organization. But I really think that this is a very important topic, and we can do it something like society about it. I think that the problem with the environment now is a conscience problem. We need like human race do it something, and we need start by a change of mind, with a new conscience about of the relationship with the earth.

I believe in Gaia Theory. This theory proposes that Gaia is a complex entity, included to the biosphere, atmosphere, earth and oceans, constitute all a cybernetic system or feedback, with the only aim of the optimal conditions (physical and chemist) for the life in the planet. 

But this not minds that because Gaia is an entity in balance, all problems in the earth are bee solution for the same Gaia, on the contrary, I think that we need do it something with the unbalance that we start. The Global Warming, the hunting of species in extinction dangers, the use of animal’s skin for fashion, the pollution, etcetera. This entire are thinks that we, like human race to cause, and is own duty resolve this. 

We are part of a life system, and all in this system is in balance, when we do it something, this affect us. So, when the human damage to the earth, is damage to himself.  

My Favorites Books

I`m a book worm, all my life I have been reading novels. But, now I don`t read novels so much, because, all the time I have to read science papers about Archaeology. I think that my reading habits came a long time ago, when I was a child. My mother invited me to a public library when I was 5 years old. Until this day, I have read many books; it is so much that I can remember how much is it. 

I like novel about fantasy or magic realism. My favourite Latin American writer is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I think that He is the best writer in the word, the topic is so interesting and his books are unique. My favourite book of Garcia Marquez is 100 Años de Soledad, this is a wonderful book and I have reading 4 times. By the way, my international favourite writer is Anne Rice, She is American, but I read her books in Spanish. She writes about vampires, and she writes the most famous saga about it. My favourite character of the literature is the most important character of her books; his name is Lestat, the vampire. I love his irreverent person, he is a rebel and sinful. The film Interview with the Vampire is based in her novels. 

The last book that I was read is the ninth book of the saga, called “El Santuario”. It was really good, so interesting and exciting. I read it in 4 days, and the books have around 300 pages. He story is about a young vampire with troubles; he has an evil Doppelgänger ghost, and he need the help from a powerful and older vampire for destroy it. I love this book, I completely recommended it, but you have been love for this type of literature.
   

Magic Power of the Bluestones of Stonehenge

This article is about Bluestone in Stonehenge, this term designee to all of the foreign stone at Stonehenge. The Professors Tim Darvill and Geoffrey Wainwright, archaeologist are dig this site, thinks that the bluestones in Stonehenge are an evidence of the healing power of this stones, because, they are brought from south Wale, to 150 miles of distance. In this way, they argue that this magic power is explained by the huge human effort inverted in this work. 

A few of evidence about the magic use of the bluestones, was been the find of the 2 pieces of this stone, broken in many fragments, and this fragments was using for talismans. The bluestones circle was dating in 2.300 B.C. by samples of organics remains. But, the world famous profile of the monuments, was created in 1.900 B.C. after a systematic movement of the stones. However, charcoal fragments was dating recently around 7.000 B.C. 

Another evidence of the magic power or use of the bluestones, are many humans bodies found it, this bodies evidence many marks about illness, this suggest that this persons was arrive to this place for a cure.  

They think that Stonehenge was a multifunctional place, was using as a calendar, for the solstices, and as an ancestral worship. 

One rival theory suggests that the stones are move by glacial force, and they are not evidence of human occupation. But, Darvill and Wainwright, completely defeat this theory.
